Please accept these Terms and Conditions of use before you proceed.
- As the responsible adult I understand that I am fully responsible for the actions of all members of the group whilst using the facilities of Scotby Spa.
- I understand that Scotby Spa Swimming pool does not have a life guard on duty and I am responsible for the Health and Safety of all members of the group.
- I acknowledge receipt and understanding of the pool rules/ pool safety rules which are displayed in the pool area and confirm all members of the group will abide by the displayed rules.
- A minimum of 2 responsible adults will be present in the pool area at all times.
- A maximum of two children (under 18) per supervising adult.
- All areas of the pool facility will be left in the same condition as on arrival.
- I understand I am liable for any damage or loss caused whilst using the facility and will make payment as requested by the owners
- All personal belongings are stored at owner’s risk. No liability for loss or theft will be carried by the owners of Scotby Spa.
- Vehicles are parked at owner’s risk. No liability for damage or theft will be carried by the owners of Scotby Spa.
- Small children and babies will be dressed in suitable swim wear.
- No smoking in the pool area.
- No food or drink to be consumed in the pool area.
- No glass, breakable, sharp or heavy objects to be taken into the pool area.
- No running will be permitted in the pool area.
- No jumping into the pool will be permitted.
- No diving into the pool will be permitted.
- All swimmers must shower before using the swimming pool.
- Responsible adults will be fully aware of life saving equipment in the pool area.
- The location of emergency call button, emergency telephone and first aid kit is understood and communicated to all responsible adults.
- The site location is displayed on the pool safety rules poster and should be given to emergency services in the event of an accident.
- All incidents must be recorded in the site accident book and reported to Scotby Spa staff ASAP.
- Bookings must be paid for online with Paypal. No cash bookings are taken at Scotby Spa. Bookings that are not paid for will be cancelled.
- Scotby Spa reserves the right to cancel or amend your booking for any reason. If it becomes necessary to do so, we will give as much notice as possible. Your booking can be transferred to another date of your choice. If the booking is cancelled you will be reimbursed for the proportion of your booking which was not used.
- Bookings cancelled by the user with less than 48hrs notice will still be charged at the full charge rate.
- Late departure outside of the allocated time will be charged at full price for the following booking slot, no exceptions.
- Bookings are not transferable and the responsible adult who makes the booking and signs the terms and conditions must always be present when using the facility.
- Children should always be supervised when using the facilities of Scotby Spa.
In clicking below I acknowledge full instruction and understanding of my responsibilities as detailed above and will not hold Scotby Spa or any associated parties responsible for any claim or loss incurred whist using the facilities of Scotby Spa.
These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
